Need help QUICK !!!!!
I know it it is VERY hard to diagnose problems without seeing what is going on and I thank you all for your help . I will try my best to describe what is going on: I am able to load a round into the mag. The bolt pushes it into the chamber, but I can not rotate the bolt down to lock it in place...- wade-19

The bolt will close without a round in the chamber. Factory ammo only. It is a .308- wade-19

Not really . Most of my buddies are shooting Rugers and Tikkas. The only other Reminton in the group is a .260. They mainly are Hunters. I just got interested in trying the long range shooting .- wade-19

The round is just sitting there and the bolt moves freely . I can drop a round into the chamber and push the bolt all the way forward , but not down . Then when I pull the bolt back , the round is left in the chamber- wade-19

Yes, I thought of that first thing , but the 4 digits on the bolt are the same as the last four of the serial number .- wade-19

Factory new gun. It was in the mini-chassis when I went to the range today . I put it back in the factory Hogue when I got home with the same results. Just checked, it will not close on an empty brass either. I have not pulled the base off to check yet- wade-19

OK, crappy pic, but here is the lighter replacement for the 20 inch AAC-SD. It is a 16.5 inch AAC-SD, Manners 90% carbon MCS-T with mini chassis, Seekins aluminum rail, Seekins/Vortex aluminum rings, Midway special Vortex 5-15 scope, Eagle stock pack , and LRI fluted bolt from thr GB.- wade-19

MY 20 inch AAC-SD with Manners MCS-T with mini chassis, Badger bolt knob, Badger base and Rings, Weaver Tactical scope and RAD brake. Did not like the weight for a hunting rifle, so it's gone now. Will post pics of it's replacement when I get some.- wade-19
