    Re: Your load for banging steel with .308 Economical loads usually involve a cheaper bullet. That is really the only place you can save much money. Shooting light charged loads really doesnt save enough powder to make a big difference.

    Re: Opinions on Rem 700 triggers. I had good luck gettin a smith to tune an x mark down to 3 lbs but if i was to do it over I would have gone ahead and bought a jewel. I have jewels in my other three rifles and love the feel of them.

    Re: Lost our deer lease In the coastal and midlands of SC i have seen prices on deer leases jump up between 15-20 an acre. It is mostly hunters from Florida migrating up. The crazy thing about them paying the high prices is that the hunting is not half as good as the midwest or western states.
