Nothing works as well water stones and some good muscle memory.

Rifle Scopes Zero stops for SWFA Super Sniper Scopes

Thanks for the idea. I going to make some for my Sightron. Will report back as soon as I get it working.

Rifle Scopes weaver super slam scopes

The 3-15 is better for your application because it has a lot more elevation than the 4-20. In regards to glass quality, the weaver super slam glass is as good or better than anything in the under 1k price range. The only drawback about these scopes is that weaver is owned by ATK who's buying up...

    Savage 11 question

This wasn't the case until the late 90's. When people refer to the Savage 110, they are talking about all savage/stevens rifles not including the Axis line. From wikipedia.

Rifle Scopes In Hand Sightron S-tac 2.5-17.5x56. Update on CS and performance

I'm curious about the glass. It may be coincidence, but there is big difference between the glass quality from Japan (SIII, SII big sky) versus the Philippines(SI, SII).

Rifle Scopes Need a knew scope

You are not going to get anything decent for that price. However the Mueller APT should be serviceable. If you weren't looking foe exposed turrets, I would recommend the discontinued weaver nitrex scopes available from natchezss. They are essentially weaver grand slams for around 100 bucks.

    Savage 11 question

They are both based on the 110 action, however there have been different versions of that action over the years. Centerfeed vs Staggerfeed and the location of the bolt release(top vs triggerguard).

Rifle Scopes Which would you pick? Viper PST 6-24 FFP vs Sightron SIII 6-24

The fact that Sightron's glass holds up at 50X is the reason why I bought one. If I wanted dim, fuzzy optics at max magnification, I would buy a tacticool Walmart centerpoint special.

    Rifle Scopes Sightron FFP

Their price on the scope yesterday was 899 before the coupon. So after the coupon, it was 810. You can get them to beat grabagun's price on it which is 826 by live chatting with them. SWFA also does a 110% price guarantee, so I bet they will give a price close to that.

Does anyone have federal primers in stock?

I'm trying to find a place that has federal 210m or 210 primers in stock. Ideally they will also have IMR 4064 also so I only have to pay hazmat fees once. Where are you guys buying your primers at? Thanks in advance.

    Rifle Scopes Sightron FFP

Just ordered mine and can't wait to get it. Got the mil-hash version for less than an Vortex PST. Those 1K yard targets don't have a prayer now.:D

Rifle Scopes Varmint scope for cheap...flamers welcome!

It turns out that Cabelas only had that deal for one day. Sorry.

Rifle Scopes Varmint scope for cheap...flamers welcome!

Cabelas has their tactical 8-32x50 scope on sale for less than 300 bucks. Its made by Meopta and you won't get better glass for anything close to that price especially for low light conditions. The only reason I'm not getting one is because it only has 50 moa of travel which won't be an issue...

Rifle Scopes Which Vortex Viper to get

Where did you get the deal on a the weaver? I would love to pick one up for 500 bucks.

    Camcorder as a spotting scope?

The windows at 2:30 is at least 2 miles away.

    Camcorder as a spotting scope?

Interesting idea since camera sensors are more sensitive than the human eye. You could zoom in the view finder after you take a picture with the 16 mp sensor.

Wierd thing happened at the range Saturday

The exact opposite happened to me at the range. I started talking to an average looking kid(early 20's) because I noticed his GAP rifle. He told me he just got it recently and this was the first time he shot handloads out of it and was doing some load development. When we examined his target, he...
