    Yes a clip on will give you better clarity than a 14 behind a day optic. That being said, only the big boys (PVS 27, PVS 30, CNVD-LR) will handle the higher magnification day scopes above 10 power with real clarity. Even a PVS 22 is starting to loose sharpness above 8 power.

    Yeah its an interesting sight. Ducks look almost alien as their heads show up but not their bills imagine an inverted dear drop gliding over the water! Their body feathers are amazing insulators. Even in the dead of winter they don't show up well at all.
