    If you are comparing the 4-16 PST to the 5-20 SWFA, the SWFA has the better glass, but the only way you can get it on your budget is used (they show up on this forum often).

    I have kind of the opposite problem, my LMT throws the MagTech brass out really hard and far. I was wondering if it will be a problem to shoot suppressed with this setup.

    I shoot MagTech M80 ball ammo through my LMT with good results.....it seems to burn clean too.

    I bought an LMT MWS in late December 2012 before they disappeared and have been very impressed with its accuracy and reliability (zero FTF to date). It is the only weapon I own that every friend I have let try it out has wanted to buy it from me on the spot!

    I would look for a used SFP Nightforce 3-15 MLR or MOAR reticle (their reticles are thicker than the NPr1 or NPR2). They are tough scopes with good glass.

    I bought a CMP Special and was impressed with the new barrel and stock and especially the way it shoots. If you want to put a lot of rounds downrange, go with the special.

    I bought a used Nightforce NXS from a Hide member, so that would be my recommendation. In reading this thread, I appreciate the advice on spring compression for scopes that Plange gave above (I will store mine decompressed now).

    I was happy with the Special Grade I bought. I found it to be quite accurate with the new barrel. Don't forget to pick up some CMP ammo (if it is still available).

    Look at an STI Ranger or Trojan, they have a Series 70 trigger if that is something you are looking for. A friend has the Traditional Two Tone Sig 1911, it also shoots well.

    I think SWFA makes a cattail for the zoom, don't know of any assist for the parallax.

    That was interesting reading, I don't reload right now so I also would probably go with the 260Rem. There is a lot of good LMT MWS info on this thread, glad I found it!
