I just shot my 270WIN Browning A-bolt 23" loaded with Hornady Brass, IMR 4350(52.5 Grains, this is still on the light end) and a Sierra 130 Grain bullet to 500 yards. It was about 2800 FPS if I remember right. I would say with a hotter load it...

    Re: Going with a .300WM Definitely impressed with my 5R 300 Win Mag, 3/4 MOA this past weekend at 700 yards with 175 Gr. Berger VLd hunting bullet and 208 Gr. A-max. Cant wait to stretch it to 1000 yards in Nebraska when I go back for Deer season.
