    Does Primer Seating Depth Matter?

Pictures sometimes help, somewhat. Yesterday, I uniformed the flash hole of 400 cases, mixed headstamps of 223 brass. I had already uniformed the primer pockets.

    Does Primer Seating Depth Matter?

Seems like some/most in the benchrest community just use the Sinclair primer pocket & flash hole uniformer tool - seems to work for those using those tools and shooting tiny groups. I have them and use them with a small Ryobi cordless screwdriver. No complaints. I was typing as orkan posted -...

Looking for 223 brass volume etc

^^^That's about it. I'm contemplating uniforming the flash holes of 500 223 cases - having a hard time getting my rear end over to the drill press, knowing it may or may not help in the accuracy department when using a 2 moa red dot sight on my AR after I confirm the load can shoot sub moa...

Night Vision Hogster-R by Bering Optics opinions

Might be awhile for the Eye2 E6 Pro, as the boys down Forth Worth, Texas way are tight lipped about it. They just say as info becomes available, it'll be posted on the website. https://www.infirayusa.com/eye-ii3.html

Looking for 223 brass volume etc

Not sure it really matters, unless you're shooting benchrest matches. Once you find the bullet, powder charge and primer that your rifle appreciates, you'll find shooting mixed brass doesn't seem to affect group size, at least that's been my experience. For instance - I have found that 23.0...

    Night Vision tritium sights?

^^^^ Ya, running through backyards on a moonless night as a young man - I learned that clothes lines are a hazard and they were white!!

    Night Vision tritium sights?

In total darkness, glow in the dark sights are just about useless, IMO. If you are in total darkness, you basically need to have your target silhouetted or have very low light conditions. If you're considering using tritium for home defense, placing those dim LED night lights in hallways...

Night Vision Pulsar Thermion XP 50 review

That would be at 2X right with PIP at 4X? Beautiful crisp imagine but having that X-hair move around like that would drive me crazy. Tighten down that ball-head an 1/8 of a turn.:)

Night Vision Hogster-R by Bering Optics opinions

I'll check around, as I learned of this today from another site. Borris had him send his scope in for the upgrades, not sure if he had to pay shipping but will ask - I would think it'll be available for download in the near future, if not currently available for download.

I think there is a firmware upgrade for the Hogster that was just released, one of the upgrades in the package is the PIP will stay in memory after the scope is shut off.

    Night Vision Tired of trapping

Well, here's an excellent, in my opinion, review of the "new" Thermion thermal scopes. Kinda looks like the XP50 would be better for taking multiply shots at moving targets but the XQ50 looks mighty good with a lower price tag. In the video when comparing the XQ50 at base mag of 3.5X and...

Revolver started life as a 375 Seville manufactured by Jeffrey C. Munnell’s Group from 17-4 Stainless Steel and was probably manufactured in late 1984 or early 1985 because of the USA logo and the fact Munnell’s group still used the old numbering system for a short time period after purchasing...

Dream set of Binos, Swaro, Leica, Steiner ?

Not sure how many of you have glassed for big game - sometimes you’ll glass for 2 to 5 hours before you make a decision on your approach or how to come at it the next day. IMO, a quality spotting scope such as a Kowa, should be considered for looong range viewing. If weight and bulk are of...

    Night Vision Tired of trapping

I think a 22-250 sighted in at 200 yards will be about 1/2” high at 50 yards, about 1.25-1.5” high at 100 yards, dead on at 200 yards and about 2 inches low at 300 yards - with a 52 to 55 grain bullet. One would need to look in a reloading manual to get the right poop for your bullet taking...

Night Vision Trijicon IR Hunter MK3 60mm versus Trijicon IR Hunter MK3 35mm distance, usability, etc

In my opinion you probably have one of the best thermal scope on the market, all you need is a small spotter for looking around. That MH 25 that has been discussed on this forum might be a good choice, as a spotter for your needs.

Could be because the Halo LR is competing against the Trijicon Hunter MK3 60mm.

    Night Vision Tired of trapping

I believe the trail2 will be available sometime this June 2020 - it will have an upgraded sensor, which is always a good thing. I believe the XP38 was discontinued, as they are sticking with the XP50. Google shot shot 2020, I think there's a video interviewing a Pulsar rep discussing the new...
