Following this thread I did it on a Gen 6. A dremel and cold beer job. Removed material from the chassis, replaced trigger guard screw with a flat head machine screw, and ground down the front trigger hanger screw head by 1/2.
Although I have not shot a DMR style match yet, I built this for such the occassion. 18" Bartlein CLE chambered SPR profile barrel, bootleg inc handguard, Bushnell LRTS 4.5-18. Shoots .75moa with 77smk and varget. Anxious to shoot a dedicated DMR match or team match with .223 shooter.
I just mine primarly for spotting at matches/range. I threw a rifle on it to dry fire, and for flat range shooting could not get it low enough for a sitting position. Kneeling through standing, no problem.
T.Rex Arms sidecar for a CZ P10-C and T.Rex Arms Raptor for G43. Both very comfortable and don't notice the difference in carrying, even with the size difference.
95gr Barnes TTSX with 28gr Reloader 7 and 110 Sierra Pro Hunters with 29.5 of H322 have been very effective on south Texas deer and pigs over the years
I got the 18" spr profile Bartlien, 1:7.7 with cle match chamber. Shoots great. 77gr Black Hill, Prime and FGMM all shoot excellent. Service is second to none as well.
I loaded some Lehigh 194 gr subsonic a couple years ago. Shot a doe in the skull at 65yds and would not do it again. Not near as ethical as I had assumed it would be, requiring 2 shots. It was ridiculously quiet though.
I've tagged out on whitetail for several years and killed a lot of pigs with 6.8spc and 95gr ttsx. Nothing long range, inside and a couple hundred yards.
