    6.5x47, 22" 1.25 dia. barrel with 8, 3/8" flutes .250" deep!http://i849.photobucket.com/albums/ab51/ployharprecision/IMG_20130613_113915_068_zps3d192136.jpg?t=1384230565

    Stock flex. Big concern?

Sounds normal to me. You will have some flex in both the barrel and the stock. It's hard to beat a manners for accuracy, and i really like the mini chasis, makes a real nice setup!

    20" carbine users - need your speeds for 6.5x47 + 260 + 7-08

My last 6.5x47 would push 130 vld's 2800 to 2820 at 20" with varget. New one is around 2750 with 140's at 22" and my wife's is a touch over 2900 with 130's at 22" both with varget, these barrels seem like they might be a little faster than the old one? Really fun round though!

Shorter barrel for switch barrel rifle

I cut my last 6.5x47 down from 24 to 20 and lost 80 to 100 fps. lost another 100 going to 16, that was using varget. It worked really good at 20, 16 didn't seem a predicable, not getting enough powder burn possibly.

Light Recoil Bolt Rifle for the Wife

You could always get a muzzle brake on her 270 and she would have no problems. My wife has no problem shooting a light 7 WSM or my heavy 338 Lapua, with my brake on them, and she is petite (like 100 pounds).

Long actions, Non-magnum LA rounds, who's running them?

Ive been shooting a 284 on a melonited BAT this year, one of the most consistently accurate guns i've ever had. You can definitely see a difference over the smaller calibers when you get out around 1000 yd with some wind!

    338Edge Action Question

The actions are the same so unless the stock on the sendero is exactly what you want then i would say its not worth it. The HS stocks I've seen on the sendero's are not near as nice as a standard HS, which to me are not the nicest shooting stock either. That being said, if you can afford the...

You might want to take a look at Elite Iron's Bravo 1 or Bravo SD. I have four of their cans and they all work really well!

    Remington 700 extractor question

I had a similar problem a few years back with my 22-250, worked fine for the first couple thousand rounds, then gave up. The extractor cutout ended up being a little oversized and wouldn't constantly work with the new one. Switched over to saco extractor and it has worked flawlessly ever since!

Advice on $600 low budget long range rifle

I would go with a remington 700 in 308, that way if he ends up liking to shoot he would have a good action to build on! Always nice to have the option incase you develop an obsession!
