Shot my ultralight 375 WSM for the first time!

Awesome caliber, reminds me of the B&M series. In addition to a .375, they've also done a 9.3, .416, and .458 off of the WSM base. Badass guns! I've been thinking hard on a .338 or .35 WSM myself. They call it the 35 Sambar I believe...

    Recommend me a neck turner?

Thanks. I already have/use a tubing micrometer, and I already use expander mandrels, mostly to clean up the case mouth on virgin Lapua or Norma brass. So I get the principle. It just seems like with many things in reloading, the devil is in the details. Also, buy once, cry once

    FN SPR actions for sale

How many chassis systems are out there? I know there are several that are more like "tube gun" type stuff, but it seems to me a guy looking at a CRF action is probably more focused on tactical/hunting. Ate there a bunch of other chassis out there in that vein I'm not aware of? Always looking...

    FN SPR actions for sale

I wouldn't say chassis options are limited for the FN/M70. McRees and XLR both offer something. I know AI doesn't, but are there any others? I love my FNs. $675 is too much for me for just the action, but they are excellent and easily made into tack drivers.

    223 neck issues

Since its a bolt gun you should be able to get a decent gauge of your chamber neck diameter by measuring the neck diameter of your fired brass. As long as you can get your loaded ammo down to a couple thousandths under that you can avoid neck turning.

    Primmer pocket prep

Crimp removal cutters, like the Hornady tool, don't uniform the pocket as well. If you want to uniform Sinclair makes a good inexpensive set you can chuck up in a drill. That said, the Hornady tools do get the crimp out I used a Dillon super swage and it works well, but my reloading time is...

    Gunsmithing Upper vice block

It seems to be similarly designed, but the biggest difference I see is that it is just round bar stock. The reaction rod has flats milled in to lock in a vice. That's a key feature to me. If I recall correctly, the brownells tool is designed to be used with the barrel nut wrench (which should...

New GAP Extreme Hunter in 6.5 SAUM

I'm with you, man. I don't mind the brass situation for normal shooting but if I had one of these I would want to take it to Africa on the next trip, and correctly head stamped brass is an essential for clearing customs in many countries over there!

    Gunsmithing Upper vice block

I use a Geisselle reaction rod for all my work on AR uppers now. It's an excellent tool

    Recommend me a neck turner?

UI'm leaning towards the Sinclair, 21C, or K&M. Which of these is the easiest to adjust? Also, which would you say is the easiest to get a smooth turn? I've heard that some have a wider blade, which might take fewer turns and leave a smoother surface? Any thoughts there? Thanks for the replies!

    Recommend me a neck turner?

So in thinking hard on a 6.5 4S, but I have no experience neck turning and the options are extensive! I've always been happy with Sinclair tools, and they have a complete kit (currently out of stock though). I've also heard that the "pumpkin" tool by Nielsen is THE neck turning tool, but there...

Rifle Scopes TPS Rings vs Seekins - First Impression.

Still waiting patiently for some pics of these terrible Seekins rings, or at least a better description. I have both TPS and Seekins. Never had a problem with either, but for my money the Seekins are far superior.

Gunsmithing Recommended torque settings for McRees stock?

The McRees I just received yesterday (FN inlet) came with paperwork that explicitly states 65 in/lbs for the action screws. I haven't test fired mine yet.
