    I'm out of town I'll mail you the action thursday. I am using Night force 20 moa base that are made for 8-40 screws. if it maters. This site is so awesome I wish I knew about it 10 years ago.

    Like the title says I have a remy 700 long action and I want the scope base screw holes opened up. The action has been salt bath nitrited any know a smith that can do it.

    Mine is odd it has all the markings of the Gen II with the military retical but it isnt in FDE it is Black.

    Specifically the Specter model 230/PVS. My father passed away and I found this in a box. It appears to be missing the lever the changes it from 1x to 4x??? Can I get it repaired it appears to function otherwise and the glass is actually pretty awesome on it.

    That HAAS TL-1 Seems to be the standard for CNC lathes when it comes to gunsmithing. Everyone in a while I see one pop up for 5-7K. One of these years I might buy it.

    Get yourself a Machinery's Handbook. Also there a lot of videos on youtube the cover the math some more in depth than others. Tubalcain, Oxtool, Keith Fener come to mind immediately.

    I have the same case. I like it. Not as good as a pelican but sufficient to keep your weapon safe. I replaced the foam.

    Super DIY solid reloading bench

    I like it. Also Menards sells southern yellow pine. It's twice the weight of the cheap "whitewood" you get from home depot and Lowes. It's also much more rigid. It make for great heavy reloading benches.

    True. Any idea on a weight capacity? I am going to buy a used lathe and was planning on using up the last of my black cerakoat as the paint for the tailstock and headstock.

    What primer and paint for synthetic stock.

    I've got some gun coat I've never used Ill have to give it a try. From what I understand to prevent runs the part needs to be hot.
