    What should I do???????????????????

Double check your zero and target distances. Drops of .4 for 200 and 1.2 for 300 sounds about right for a 140 class bullet. Get as squared away as you can and shoot the match. There’s a lot to be learned even with imperfect data. And have fun!

Maggie’s THE "NOM NOM NOM" THREAD

What kind of bologna? I tried some German bologna. Didn’t get as good as I was hoping. Maybe I didn’t have it on long enough, about an hour and a half. Thanks

    Maggie’s What's Your View II

Was this a repeat replacement on this knee? I had both knees done 5 years ago. Right one is having issues. I might be looking at round 2 on it already.

Who's had the "Deadly China Virus"? And how bad was it really?

In China? I doubt they are just as strict.

    Questions regarding suppressed POI shift

I have 7 rifles sharing 2 suppressors. One impacts .7 mil high with a suppressor mounted. I probably swapped the can on/off 20 times the first day I tried it just to be sure. Crazy. But repeatable.

    rattle can jobs

Try soaking the cans in hot water before and between coats. It made a big difference for me in how the paint applied and dried.

Who is betting against Brady this weekend

Fuck them all. Take the advertising dollars out of all sports. Make it all pay per view and stadium sales, then we’ll see what they are really worth. Seriously, what can you buy today that doesn’t have money invested in some pro sport. Why should I pay for sports I have no interest in supporting?

Hunting & Fishing Suggestions for a new layering system

You must be a bit south of me. I’m just south of the turnpike tunnel. Read up on the elk tag - you can buy a point each season. Then you can apply those towards a tag and have a better chance of getting a tag when you want.

Hunting & Fishing Suggestions for a new layering system

I’m hunting state land in PA. The area east of RT 100 between Fogelseville and 309. And Hickory Run west of Turnpike. Actually, east of turnpike is 3C, I think?

Hunting & Fishing Suggestions for a new layering system

I’m good with base layers. Looking for a breathable shell that will keep me dry. I normally peel off layers to walk in or out. But any rain/snow while I’m walking and I’m wet. Years ago it seemed like everyone had a blaze camo option. Now no one does. It’s a pain in the ass having to deal with...

Hunting & Fishing Suggestions for a new layering system

How quiet is the Gore-Tex layer when moving through brush? I have a cabelas jacket now that is supposed to be a brushed short fleece to be quiet. It’s not bad in a tree stand, but everything within 5 feet catches on it when walking. And it makes a lot of noise as the brush is pulled off. I...

    Old school hat?

I've got an old school hat I bought here years ago (probably 10 or more). It has the soft brim and no button on top, velcro adjustment on the back. It has finally gotten to the point of needing replacement. I can't remember which member here sold them. Anyone who remembers these and who...

    Night Vision Rechargeable battery question

Ok, that explains how the gps knows the battery type, and why they packaged together two AA as a single unit!

    Night Vision Rechargeable battery question

I’ll check voltage tomorrow. Only charger I have is using the GPS. That could be a problem too. I’ve had this GPS for about 4 years now. I’m not disappointed in the battery life. Just checking for better options. Seems like NiMH is the way to go. But maybe using AA with external charger.

    Night Vision Rechargeable battery question

Not a night vision specific question, but I know you guys use a lot of batteries in cold conditions. So you probably have some good insight. I've got a Garmin GPS that uses this battery pack: https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/116480 Mine won't charge anymore. Ultimately, it's just two AA...
