    USO Vs. Leupold spotting scope

Re: USO Vs. Leupold spotting scope Just got a USO from another hide member. Looks pretty good so far. I've used the Leupold in the past and they aren't bad either. The USO has a lot longer eye relief and is longer in length than the Leupold if that affects your decision.

    Humidity Control for Safe?

Re: Humidity Control for Safe? Goldenrod for sure. If no hole in the safe for a cord, get some of the "re-chargeable" silica stuff. Midways.com sells a few different types of the silica.

Re: Interesting question from a walmart clerk Lady at my walmart was asking me why I wasn't buying more. I told her I had a bunch already and just needed a few rounds and she said "you can never have enough ammo.". Pretty cool lady.

    6 yr old

Re: 6 yr old I started on my great grandpas Remington model 12 pump. Sweet gun that my dad gave me since he never shoots it. After the pump I was using a 10/22 and really sent the lead down range, which didn't teach me anything other than it was really fun to shoot fast. I'd recommend a...

Luckiest guy in the world? (car wreck)

Re: Luckiest guy in the world? (car wreck) I bet if he was paying attention instead of jaw jacking he would probably be dead. Just seems to happen that way, like when a drunk guy crashes he is usually the one that lives.

Odd question, $5 gold coin value

Re: Odd question, $5 gold coin value Like the previous poster said, you can look at pcgs.com for a general value. You can take it to a reputable coin dealer and they can tell you it's grade and give you a little better idea what it's worth. The older "pre 33" gold typically has a higher...

    Rangefinder- need suggestions

Re: Rangefinder- need suggestions What's the deal with all the Swarovski range finders in the for sale column? I was thinking about buying one and i've seen at least 4 in the last two weeks. They look good, and Swaro has a good reputation, but i'm wondering why people seem to be getting rid...

6.5 Creedmoor? Should I get it??

Re: 6.5 Creedmoor? Should I get it?? I have a 6.5x55 swede and really like the low recoil. Also have a .308. I've been looking at the 6.5 Creedmoor as well. I like what I've seen in other reviews. 6.5 bullets are plenty and the brass isn't too hard to find either. I say go for it.

    Vortex spotter

Anyone here with experience using the Vortex Razor 20-60 x85mm spotter. I saw one when visiting Cabelas but it was too busy for me to check it out. There is nowhere near me that carries them for me to look at. Any help is appreciated.
