    Re: 229 or 220, I had a 229 in 40 and could never get used to the chunky feeling had. Have a 220 and find it fits me better. You should try them both if possible to see what you prefer.

    Re: Questions for people with ~18 inch 308s I have an 18" on my tango 51 and a 20" on my LTR that I cut to 19" and added a VAIS break. Can't say there is any recoil increase on 20" vs 18". Don't really notice much difference in blast either.

    Re: HS Precision or AI stock Thanks for the quick feedback. My LTR has the barrel cut to 19" with a 2" VAIS break on it (21" OAL) so I wasn't sure how a shorter barrel would look on AICS.

    I have a Remington 700 LTR with an OD HS Precision stock. I was thinking about getting an AICS 1.5. Any reason why I should or shouldn't switch? I think this HS is okay, but wanted to go with something different. Advice from those with experience would be appreciated.

    Re: Tac Ops Delta 51 I got this one from a friend of a friend that needed some quick cash. I can only say you won't be disappointed. It easily out-shoots me. Tango-51 18" a la LASD SEB style. Might need to upgrade optics from Leupold Mark 4 4.5x14 to Nightforce or S&B though.
