    Well, that's why I got the Whidden FL die. I tweaked it down little by little to achieve a .002 pushback on the shoulder as many recommend, but the neck doesn't size enought to hold the bullet. I don't think it's the expander, the neck isn't being sized.

    appreciate the reply, but I think the post I found kinda told the story. I was bumping the shoulders back too far and with a 2.80 OAL the primers were backing out at the light loads. will bump only the minimal amount next time.

    Looks like I found an answer on 'cartridgeloaders.com' My cases had the shoulders back a touch too far than the .002 recommended for resizing.     Thanks to all for the input. Will be working with the 41 grain starting point with an OAL of 2.80. I noticed 'n8lusk' said he worked with .010 off lands. I have the RCBS micrometer kit to check the lands and set the bullet off that distance. Will work the powder up to and reasonable accuracy...

    .308, rem 700 pss, 1/12" Don't want to be too nit picky, but for shooting F class out to 600 yards at what bullet weight should I be clustering bullets by weight, ie, 167.4, 167.5, 167.6, 167.7, 167.8, 168.9, 168.0, 168.1, 168.2... Have heard I could use all a range such as 167.8-168.1...
