    For 1 caliber, I wouldn't go a Maltings calibre capable route... For 2, I'd consider it. And it saves you money if you want 3 calibers. I don't feel like my mrad gives up anything with regards to accuracy, and I only had to buy one Nightcore scope for my '3 rifles'

    I suspect it is far more likely user error (some dirt got in somehow, and when the round fired, it got wallpapered to the chamber walls) then anything related to the conversion or design

    was shooting the 300 WM (zero issues) swapped to 308.... First round, very sticky, sequential rounds, not as sticky with the odd exception being almost as sticky as the first one. The last time I shot the 308, she shot like a dream, with no noticed issues.

    I did not. I guess since suddenly the rounds got sticky I assumed the cause and effect... I'll check the dies, and clean them out when I get home.

    I don't think we will ever get that big, just because the DTA has a huge head start, and a much larger acceptance, but that doesn't mean the MRAD isn't just as worthy. I for one welcome our new sticky status and look forward to posting in it for the foreseeable future. If anything, it'll help...

    your velocities are crushing mine. I'm at 2620 with an ES of 10 FPS courtesy of my varget. I'm not overly familiar with 2000MR and it's not on my burn charts, is it slower then varget?

    43.5 grains of varget unfired lapua brass CCI BR2 primers 178 ELD-Match rounds loaded to a 1,190 Ogive (or about .025 off the lands) It sounds like my .6-.7 MOA is about what others are getting, so maybe I'm not leaving much on the table if I stop here.

    so I think I've peaked in my load development for the mrad in 308.... I can't seem to get better then .6-.7 MOA at 200 yards. I've got multiple loads that do it consistently so I'm wondering if I've hit the limit of my abilities. What sort of groups are others getting consistently with he 308?

    Right now, it looks like I'll be using about 43.5 grains of Varget for the 308, I'm looking at h1000 for the 300wm and 338 Lapua.... I've got my velocities at home, but I seem to remember a 5 shot string with the Varget had an ES of 10 with velocities around 2620. I may try pushing them harder...
