    Yeah for a carbine this looks pretty sweet. I'm forever on the hunt for a fix for the kiji 3. The FP A2 and PEQ15 petri dish just doesn't spot trace or targets well and the kiji 3 blooms too much.

    How do we fix this? That's disappointing. Power level on the IR illumination drops when tightened.

    Vortex Impact 4000 Cold Weather Issues

    It's a known issue. Scott is on here from vortex and has been super helpful for all of us. Mine does the same thing, basically a lag when it's cold.

    I think the kiji falls short. It's not useable in 50% of conditions past 300yds and because it can't focus, it blooms and becomes useless. A head that can get down to 2' and is adjusting may make the difference to get to 500.
