My New Les Baer Super Varmint in 6.5 Grendel-Check Out the Accuracy!!

The only problem I see with that group is you are going to kill yourself to improve on that.

    7.62x40 Wilson Tactical

Wilson is apparently primarily interested in this as a super sonic hunting round. If one wants to use a surpressor then the 300 BLK is superior, if not what is wrong with the extra pop?

New build for the 6.5 Grendel Wildcat fans... 6mm Fat Rat

Let me second the use of the camara being clever. I have tried using majic market on bullets to color code them, but that was not very successful, some marked but others didn't.

Thanks Fago007 for the recommendation. We are getting a pretty good response to entries and look well on the way to a good turnout. Here is a link to our website for further informtion. Welcome to Mifflin County Sportsmens Club. Lewistown, PA.

New build for the 6.5 Grendel Wildcat fans... 6mm Fat Rat

This is certainly a very interesting thread. I have a few questions, perhaps those of you with some experince with the "Fat Rat" (great name by the way), can help. I am a three gun shooter, but also like the idea of shoting in precision matches. I have done a few, althugh not very...

Mifflin Co Sportsmen, 2-Gun, Nov. 2

Mifflin County Sportsmen, Lewistown Pa., are sponsoring a 2-Gun (Rifle-Pistol) match Nov. 2nd. I thought it was wise to post a notice here as we are having shots to 500 yds, and although not a precision match as such it will be much more "precision" than the average pistol bay 3-Gun...

JP barrel vs. Ranier Ultra Match barrel

I am very happy with the Ultra Match barrel I have. I have no direct experience with the JPs, however, one almost never hears anything negative about them. This seems like a win win, get a great barrel either choice.

    DIY Free Float Handguards, AR-15

Very nice. I have recently purchased 2 AP Custom free float tubes. Until this thread I thought they were the best bang for the buck. Will have to give this a try.

    Maggie’s Went to walmart today

Re: Went to walmart today One ought not to underestimate Wal-Mart's achievement. Sam built the worlds most successful retail businessmen with raw material, that to be charitable, we could call "common". This is clearly the wave of the immediate future. Already in politics we have Obama's...

    Formula 1

Re: Formula 1 Now that Monza is in the books it looks like Vettle is totally in a class by himself. As a long time Mclaren fan, (remember the Bruce and Denny show, in the old Can Am seires?), I wish they were doing better. Still next best to the Red Bull super car is still not too bad. At...

Need Help Finding M2 Ball Ammo for M1 Garand

Re: Need Help Finding M2 Ball Ammo for M1 Garand An "M1 loads that work well for different applications", would be interesting; either here or in the Ammo section.

    308 with 110 vmax's

Re: 308 with 110 vmax's Those are some pretty accurate loads with the 110 v-max. The gamer in me thinks the 110s should recoil lightly and allow fast followup shots? I'm thinking use it in heavy metal for 3-gun. How is the recoil compared to typical ball ammo? Another question why isn't...

8/13 SRC York PA "tactical" match

Re: 8/13 SRC York PA "tactical" match Expecting to be attending. Looks like a gas gun is the way to go, and .223 sounds about perfect. May change my regular 1x4 3-gun glass for a 3-9 scope, as there sounds like no close stuff and no really fast shooting?
