    LAWTON ACTIONS

Re: LAWTON ACTIONS I'm so sorry that I made a suggestion for any one to ask if someone could use help. As for them unscrewing themselves, maybe you are the one that may need the help, is there anything that anyone could do to possibly help you and your problems. GOD BLESS, Mac's

    LAWTON ACTIONS

Re: LAWTON ACTIONS Maybe instead of crying to the world he could call and ask them, instead of getting mad. As far as anything else he would have to ask them. I know they could have used some help with running electricity, pouring cement, building moving things, getting the right equipment...

Gunsmithing lawton 7000 vs rem 700

Re: lawton 7000 vs rem 700 I think that if you talk to the man in charge(Jackson) the problems are down to a minimum. After the oldman died there were a few problems I'll admit, but when stuff like that happens those are the times they need us most. I'll continue to support them probly as...

Gunsmithing lawton 7000 vs rem 700

Re: lawton 7000 vs rem 700 I believe that Lawton is the best for the money, they shoot right along side the more exspensive stuff such as Kelbley and Nesika Bay. They are the action of my choice,I use alot of them. If you give Jackson and guys a call they will help you out, they are...

    30 Rem?

Re: 30 Rem? The 30RAR is the same as the 30 BR which is one of the most forgiving rounds I've ever been around, and very accurate out to 300yd. Just my .02 GOD BLESS, Mac's

    Best BC for .308

Re: Best BC for .308 If they made it sleeker than it wouldn't be as forgiving as they are but yes the bc would be awsome.

Range Report .260 vs. .243 for competition

Re: .260 vs. .243 for competition WE shoot the 95gr combination alot out to 1200yds. We tried the 105gr and the 115gr but they didn't work as good and had alot more drop and wind drift than did the 95gr. They have proven themselves at the ITRC shoot and also in the field.

    Best BC for .308

Re: Best BC for .308 240 SMK has a BC of .711 but I don't think that I would shoot it out of a 308 at half the speed of smell. It would have about the same ballistics as my wrist rocket.

Range Report .260 vs. .243 for competition

Re: .260 vs. .243 for competition I don't think that it would be any different. However I've noticed that there is a spot where time of flight meets BC and if you go past that than the smaller bullet shines. A quick example is my 20x47Lapua, it runs a 55gr Berger with less than 18 minutes at...

Range Report .260 vs. .243 for competition

Re: .260 vs. .243 for competition I ran the ballistics over and over, not to argue but would like to know what programs you arew running. My stuff says the 95gr 6mm Berger at 3300 out performs the 115DTAC at 3050 with less wind drift and less drop out past 1200 yards. Again not trying to...
