    7-6.5 PRC

    I’ve posted earlier that I run my 7-6.5 PRC (28 TAC) in a medium action. I modified a 6.5 PRC-AW print to load out to medium action length with room for throat erosion if I needed/wanted to be close or on the lands. I posted some actual loaded lengths previously in this thread.

    7-6.5 PRC

    I’ve back mine down to about 2,820 fps. I was as high as 2,880 fps, but didn’t like the bolt lift pressure. It was a little too hot for my liking.

    Looking For "universal" cheek riser Recommendations

    XLR cheek riser for their chassis fits many stock widths. This is an HS Precision. Uses epoxied in stand offs for mounting. I’ve installed about 15 of them. I have a few spares I keep around.

    What is a good average velocity for a 7 SAUM running 180 gr bullet from a 22” barrel? I’m curious about how my 28 TAC (7-6.5 PRC medium action length) compares. It is a chambering I worked up and had a reamer made to my print specifications. Thanks!

    Sight pushers

    When I was shopping around that was the best design and most versatile tool I saw. If I had known then I would be building as many pistols as I have I would have bought it then. Ive paid more than $300 for parts and other dumb crap.

    FYI - I’ve never been able to get my NC to push a front pistol sight, i.e. P-365, P-365XL or P-320. I tried making it work but it would not. Now I have a few front sights that are basically permanent. I filed them to be close then thermally fit them (heat slide and freeze front sight).

    Thanks! The blue is FX Liberty clear (sprayed uneven for fade effect) over Graphite Black. The grey/silver is tungsten with some slight Titanium fades. And of course the black in the stock is Manners Carbon fiber; I just cannot cover it all so I work it into the pattern. Used and LRI DMP...
