    Ive heard going lighter in the bullets does help in some cases. Best of luck to you. You may also try Varget or N555 powder as well. CLE recommends a Varget load with the 88 grain.

    Im shooting 88-90 grain from a 22” barrel, 1:7 twist and they stabilize fine. We shoot out to 700 yards here. Its like 9/10 on MOA sized targets at 500 yards. All factory ammo. My daughters gun. She shoots it well. The 1:7 even shoots the 95 SMK. Have not shot that one to distance...

    Next time I shoot it, I will get pics of a few sets of groups. Outside of wind, they stay pretty consistent. I did shoot it the other day and it was performing as I have come to expect from it. My buddy calls it the “laser pointer.” The barrel made a huge difference.

    Times have changed….at least as far as bottom metals are concerned. Ordered and received my bottom metal in less than a week. The M5 Hunter DBM and 3 round flat mags are availabke now as well as standard configuration both in medium length. Thanks for the response.

    Yeah, I’ve fought rimfire ammo for quite a long time. Many, many bricks of match 22 ammo. 17 HMR no different, just no match ammo. The gun deals with a wide variety of ammo well. I’m very pleased with the Clark Custom barrel.

    I Cerakote from time to time. I’ve done many different patterns. I don’t think it’s tacky at all. I Cerakote all of mine. The last one is mine. I coated the others.
