If you could only have one AR platform
I would go with my Daniel Defense with lightweight barrel profile. AimPoint T1 optics with iron's co witnessed, SureFire X300 abd Blue Force Gear sling. It is an amazing light weight and durable rifle. 0 - 500 it's money- devildawg2531

Monmouth why do you say that you would never consider doing clean's again? I do find that Crossfit style workouts can cause sloppy form on Olympic Lifts which can induce injury. But clean's in a normal rep range I don't see as an issue / dangerous.- devildawg2531

What are you using for targets?
I use several sizes of 1/2 inch thich AR500 steel. I hang this from a simple wooden sawhorse so it's easy to transport. FN FAR Rilfes - a couple of questions
I owned a FNAR and notice the past tense of owned. Mine was about a 1 1/2 MOA gun and would sometimes group better. Cleaning and field stripping was a chore. It certainly was not a MBR and was more of a hunting semi. I had mine for maybe 3 months before dumping it.- devildawg2531

308 and 300 Win Mag in same platform?
I thnk the DTA SRS A-1 may be the ticket. It looks like I can get the rifle chasis in say 300 WM for a little over $3k. Add the conversion kit down the road for 308 fpr $1500 - $2k. Just need rings and a nice optic. All in price seem's much more doable than the AI PRS. Are there othere other...- devildawg2531

Thanks for the feedback. Is there a downside to having the conversion rifles that I'm not seeing? The DTA conversion looks great (although the whole Bullpup design is a little different - haven't had the opportunity to shoot 1). I am intersted in something that allow's for multiple rifle calibers fro the same rifle / chasis. The only 1 I've found on google is DTA which is a company that I'm not familiar with. .300 Win Mags - Where are they?
I had a Rem 700 in 300 WM that I sold as it was about 1 1/2 MOA gun. I will buy back in to a better platform in 300 WM at some point. I've got several hundred rounds of once fired 300 WM brass until then. Some great looking rifles in this thread.- devildawg2531
