    What I mean is that I can make fairly reliable hits at 800 but at 900 or 1000 all over the place and way off the target. I shoot a Hornady 75 BTHP as the gun is magazine fed.

    Thanks for the replies. Asked because only direct experience I had was with my 5.56. And I can get to 800 but anything else it falls off the cliff. Maybe its just bad through the transonic range. Don't know as I never tried shooting it at 1100 or 1200 yards.

    Thanks. I'll leave mine alone. Rifle runs great - suppressed & unsuppressed. Just giving it a thorough cleaning and wanted to ask on the gas block. Again, use as a DMR/PRS gun. Rapid fire for me is 10 rounds in 2min.30sec.

    I assume you remove the block from the barrel to do this. How often do you do this? I use my rifle as a DMR and do not do mag dumps, etc.

    Alpha Brass - Shorter than min case length

    I did not look at SAAMI & should have. My Hornady reloading manual indicated 1.920 - 1.910. Never questioned the quality of Alpha brass & did not mean to have my post come off that way. Was just curious why it was 'under' when it actually was not.
