    I ran a 3-15 premier (gen2xr though) for a while and it's one of those scopes I'll own forever. Fov like you mentioned is awesome along with the way it handles mirage and parallax. I noticed I hardly had to mess with parallax under most match stages.

    I run an a3-5 which is the same basic style but has a butthook rear stock. I like it a lot. This day and time I'd run whichever I could get first. Dbm inletting is cake walk for any reputable Smith with a mill.

    Before switching to 22 Creedmoor & 22 Benchrest, you may want to read about RPM limits w/ heavy bullets, jacket failure, and bullet blow-ups.

    I've ran my 22 creed in a prs match when I was waiting on my 6mm barrel to show up. Running the 90's st 3106 was very similar to running a fast 6mm with 115dtac or 110smk. Mine is primarily a hunting gun but it worked great since I was in a bind.

    42ish gr of reloaded 26 and a 90gr vld gives me 3106fps (3096 on virgin brass) had a node around 3350fps but don't remember charge weight. This is from a broughton 7 twist. Pretty sure it's 24" in length.

    My 22 creed with a 7 twist broughton slings 90gr vld out over 3k (two nodes one at 3106fps and 3350fps) with ease and I've yet to have a jacket separate. Hunted with 80gr vld this last season running 3180fps with no issues either.

    I've not personally had one built by Jon but have seen several and shot against some. All looked great as and were hammers.

    They looked through the same scopes at same targets routinely after complaining of target visibility be it due to mirage or gray target in the shadows with their optic choice. It's something that is routinely noticed.

    Lolz so not seeing a target as easily or as well as the shooter previously or after you is opinion? That seems logical.

    I agree to an extent but when there's clear comments within squads of seeing or not seeing a target then there is a difference. That being said all in that 2k plus range are well capable of winning matches.

    Not what I've experienced in matches on multiple occasions. There is a clear difference/advantage.

    Once you get over the 2k mark they are all pretty even and easily usable. I've only seen a few advantages when jumping up to the 3k level for example from the popular gen 2 razor and the euro glass (ie schmidt, khales gen3 and premier/tth). The mirage abatement and target acquisition in the shadows.

    Black Jack bullets has a 257 bullet called the ace 131gr match bullet tgey have a .330 g7.

    All I've seen of corps guns are topped with the 3-12 Schmidt or 3-15 premier.

    22 creedmoor

    Running 90gr Berger with rl26 with pretty good luck. Had 2 nodes at 3350 and one at 3096. Running a 25" Broughton 7 twist.
