FYI. I work in the industry and at least two wholesalers do not even have 22 lr mags in their systems. I grabbed a couple extra last month from one that had them but are out now.
The T1x will probably do everything you need it to for the money. It is what I chose based on similar criteria. CCI SV shoots well in it so ammo won't break the bank.
Not a fan of the stock and anchor. With the anchor set, I still had side-to-side movement of the action. Sold rifle still have stock/anchor sitting around until I remember to list it for sale. I got better performance with a Hogue stock.
If it starts as a rifle it is always a rifle. If it starts as a receiver or pistol it can be changed back and forth. T/C has an exception for the Encore and Contender guns.
They feed almost anything pretty well. I have had great luck with Fed Automatch 325 packs both with reliability and accuracy. Shoots damn close to CCI SV.
I have one as well. Works better with 12 rounds and the spacer than 14 with a stretched spring. The only issue I had was knocking the base-pad off mid-stage by ramming it into a barricade. I guess a barricade stop is in the future.
That would depend on whether the support he grabbed was "inside" or "outside" the shooting area. Usually, walls are attached to the fault lines, therefore they are outside the shooting area and thus cannot be used for support.
Great time and a real eye opener. Thanks to Joe and Rick for all the work to set up and run this. I cannot believe more people did not turn out for this event. Hopefully Joe will do this again.
I teach a lot of handgun courses and one of the points I always try to get across to students is to learn everything you can even if you do not like the technique or it does not seem to work for you. Place it in your bag of tricks because you never know when it will come in handy.
