Colt Barrel is new. It was a take off from a OEM 1 rifle. Looks like the Dremel monkey at Colt got to the feed ramps on this one, which isn't uncommon. 16" carbine gas, 1-7 twist. Low profile gas block. $185 shipped.- kb1
