    Ar15 butt stock cheak piece

Just got SAPR delivered and bolted on my UBR....yet to try it properly and adjust to fit but as ORD says....great fit/form/function. have also added Kasey's mod'ed strike plate for the MonoPod. Not as cheap as a PRS....but I like it!

    Ar15 butt stock cheak piece

cheap or cheek? ;) What type of buttstock do you have? A2 or a collapsible? Rifle, carbine? Are you looking for something with adjustment or a fixed height? What are you looking to spend? Maybe worth your while looking at Cheek'n'stock? http://www.cheeknstock.com/main.html....not the...

Battleline Industries SAPR stock attachment on Magpul STR stock

+1 on the great write up and pics. Thanks! I've been bugging Josh since the Magpul versions were first announced. I knew this was the product I needed for my UBR's. Josh has always been very helpful, keeping me informed about the stages of development and giving me a heads up on release...

    Accuracy International questions

Read the OP.......you've missed the key phrase!! Whether you choose the AE, AW or AX....you'll never be disappointed. Had my AW for 7 years or more. never regretted the choice (or the cost!) for one minute...simply the best money I've ever spent on a firearm. Good luck with your new...

    Creedmoor 03A4

Been discussed before but isn't the Creedmoor just a Gibbs with a new name...or is that the James Armory??? Would be good to see detailed pics and a full range report after hearing so many different opinions (ranging from the downright abysmal to the better than perfect)on these clones.

old Mauser ser# 933, hidden treasure or junk?

I don't think this is a military rifle that has been sporterized - there don't appear to be any WAA marks in your photos. But yes, all rifles were confiscated or destroyed....not just military issue weapons. It looks more like an original Mauser hunting rifle to me (set triggers, express...

Pain/tingling sensation in arm when behind rifle

If you can't get comfortable behind it any strain or tension is going to affect your accuracy in the end. Do you have this problem on other rifles? Trying to picture what you mean....but it sounds like the rifle is not an ideal fit for you. Have you checked the sizing/LOP? Lay the...

    Bubbad M98 sniper?

Tor, looks to me like all the metalwork has been left as originally made. Is it 8x57IS? Good to see the barrel hasn't been shortened or the front sights removed. The rusting looks pretty superficial from the pics (or could it just be a little discolouration/grease?). If the...

    Bubbad M98 sniper?

I'm with Sihr on this.....at that price I'd grab it if it was in anything like restorable and shootable condition....give it some TLC, put it in a correct period stock and don't look back! I've bought a couple of stocks from this guy in the Netherlands...they've both scrubbed up very...

    Dragunov....with a twist.

ITAR? Try getting US companies to export stocks/handguards/buttstocks....not even 70+ yaer old milsurp items. I'm sure it works the other way too......? PS...Nice rifle!!

Trying to Locate M85 transit case

Chris, two of the three are indeed wallhangers. One is shootable if you have £5,000 to chuck at it. You are right re: AI cases. Identical but for the fit out. Suggested to Gil by PM that he maybe try to find out who makes them for AI.... ;) Speaking to a well-informed source...

    Mauser K98 Help

Swapping the barrel may sound easy but if the barrel has never been removed, it may be a problem 70 years on. I know the barrel on my K98 is going nowhere now..... Before you start drilling or anything more drastic I'd loctite the mount and screws using red loctite. OK, you'd need heat...

    sawback s98/05 bayonet

Look on the rear of the blade, by the crosspiece you will see the Crown/W emblem (Kiaser Wilhelm) plus a two digitnumber (year)...that will date the bayonet. Solingen is the place the bayonet was made Luneschloss is the maker's name. Rare? Not sure. But $360 sounds OK to me. Retail...
