    Any TRG22 / 175gr SMK users out there?

    Just bought a load of 175 gr Sierra Match kings for my TRG22 for 300/500/600m competition. Anybody have any luck with them and what sort of speeds were best?

    Re: Accurizing the Rem. .223 VTR? First thing to do is sort out some good ammo. Those R700's will shoot 1 moa and better easily will a good reload. As mentioned earlier, try a 69gr Sierra MatchKing over 24gr of Varget or Vit 140, Lapua brass. That load will get you back to 600 no problems.

    Re: 308 at 1000 Here in the UK most of the Fclass 308 shooters are shooting fast 155 gr scenars and smk's at 1000 and 1200. There are a few guys shooting the 210 gr smk's who seem to be doing pretty good too. try all if you can and see what works.

    Re: Mossin Nagant I have a great shooting 43 PU sniper. With SMK loads it will easily shoot 1 moa at 100m. The sharp vertical post in the PU scope is also pretty good for getting a consistant aimpoint, much better than the equivalent NO32 or various German scopes like the Ajac and Dialytans...
