going from single stage to dillon

My whole process is typically the same though. Pick up range brass, remove rocks and debris, ultra sonic, let dry, resize, trim then tumble. Into bin for "ready to load" calibers. At least having a system makes things much easier.

going from single stage to dillon

For my match rounds I hand load case into the primer stage on my 650. I took the power charge out of the equation because it was just too inaccurate. I use a chargemaster for the powder loading. Remove case at bullet seat stage, load charge, seat bullet and let it fall into the bin after it hits...

    Kestrel Firmware 1.20 Release

I downloaded the 1.20 lastnight. Interesting changes. Many I like. I had one problem which I couldn't re-create though. My come up's wouldn't populate when I set my target to 1000yds. Just received a - - . Tried changing the distance and no change. It appeared to be frozen. Nothing would give...

    Gun/ammo/optic insurance?

One more thing. I've heard a lot of people state what they have but haven't heard about how they have enjoyed their product. Has any of these eastern insurance holders ever had to submit a claim? How was the process? It's one thing to think you're covered, but a lot of times that's not always...

    Gun/ammo/optic insurance?

I agree. My claims from USAA have never raised my rates either. Maybe to people who are trying to take advantage of the system get their rates raised. My whole family is on USAA. No other insurance company has been able to touch it. For auto, homeowners, valuable personal property. I've even had...

    Gun/ammo/optic insurance?

I'd make sure it's full replacement value. Also any "schedule" or "valuable personal property" insurance is typically going to have you itemize your items. Just the nature of the beast. I know that when I've needed it, I've received funds within 24 hours to replace my items. Cost isn't the only...

    Gun/ammo/optic insurance?

+1 USAA. I've got Valuable Personal Property on all my toys. Won't tell you how much, but if it breaks..... full replacement value. Can't beat that.

Should you buy one no. Should you buy me one.... Yes.

Best Buy It Now Rangefinder >$500

That new Nikon has stabilization on it. I haven't tried it yet. I know that I had the Vortex Ranger 1500. It was garbage. Barely could tap a small reflective target at 684 yards. I upgraded to the Leica 2700-B. Bitchen rangefinder period. You aren't going to get into that bad boy for less than...

Any advice for me on dealing with Gang Bangers?

If you want smaller, head south to RYE (Colorado City). It's a bunch of hillbillys there, but you get a lot of seclusion for your money, and you can fish becky (Lake Beckwith) all the time! I can't tell you how many hours I spent at that little jewel.

Any advice for me on dealing with Gang Bangers?

I lived in pueblo for College. I actually liked it there. There are a lot of good spots around Pueblo especially in pueblo west. I also lived in Albuquerque most of my life. I was happy to move out of that shit hole. I love the food, love the mountains, but it was turning into an armpit. But I...

Any advice for me on dealing with Gang Bangers?

#1 Valuable personal property insurance. #2 Considering they have taken ammo, they obviously know there are firearms in the house. Doubt you're going to be dealing with a home invasion. No right person in their minds wants to confront an armed individual on their own playing field. Did they...

Rifle Scopes Spuhr mount - is it worth the investment?

Has anyone used the SP-4001 on a MPA Comp Chassis with a Kahles 624i? Just configuring for a future build. Any clearance issues? Pictures? Thanks in advance.

    Security camera help

Lorex stuff is like Apple fyi. You are stuck with their cams and equipment. If you don't want to dick with stuff much, a costco system is probably your best bet. Having a dvr is your best option as it will store much more than say a trail cam etc. The triggering options are going to be ok with a...

    Security camera help

I can help as well if you need some advice. I've setup quite a few systems analog and ip based. Most stand alone systems will work just fine without internet. You will most likely need a LAN setup though.

    Security camera help

I use blueiris, with a dedicated i7 computer. Technically you can run just about any cam with that software but storing video on a card won't get you much recording time. My advice is dont skimp out on cheap resolution cams. It's pointless unless you can use the video as evidence.

    Leica Rangemaster CRF 2700-B

What I've done is look for the closest programmed ballistic curve for the cartridge that i'm using and have them written down. That way if I have a buddy shooting a 6.5cm and I'm on my .308, I can get pretty close. Regardless this is where the kestrel is badass. I can store as many profiles that...

    Leica Rangemaster CRF 2700-B

My biggest downfall with it is when you add your custom ballistic curve, you only can add one per memory card. Pointless in my opinion. This should have been considered in the development.

    Leica Rangemaster CRF 2700-B

I just picked one up. Replaced my Vortex Ranger 1500. Holdover corrections and Mil clicks seem pretty consistent with my Kestrel. I've been ranging all day on reflective surfaces at 1700 yds. My vortex wouldn't hit 800 reliably. Haven't seen 2700 out of it yet. But it's hard to spend all the...
