    CE ProChrono

Re: CE ProChrono The ProChrono Digital is absolutely good to go. Sure it's not the most expensive, but in this case you get some serious bang for your buck. The ProChrono so far for me has worked in several different light conditions and always given accurate readings. I can read the...

    Chronograph Help... What to get

Re: Chronograph Help... What to get I recently purchased a Competition Electronics ProChrono Digital and very happy with it. Extremely simple to use, takes 2 mins to setup and start using. So far it's registered my shots in several light conditions. I got it when Midway had them on sale...

Ok, quick dumb question on the Mildot Master?

Today I picked up a Mildot Master while at Tactical Tailor (awesome having them in my back yard). Playing around with it I'm very impressed, easy to use and very powerful to get you on target fast. For short ranges, 400 or less yards it's very easy and makes perfect sense. However longer...

    Ammo Carry for Comps?

Re: Ammo Carry for Comps? Right now for range trips I use a MTM 100 round ammo case. However my next purchase will be a "Tactical Ammo Burrito". It's a ammo card that rolls up, even better! http://www.8541tactical.com/online_order.php

Remington 700 Police 338 Lapua rifles

Re: Remington 700 Police 338 Lapua rifles Rumor is around 200 are made each year in a single run. Once they are gone it's waiting for the next run to occur. Best bet is finding one used, they pop up on GunBroker from time to time. However, if you want to make sure it's a good shooter...

Rifle Scopes Leupold Care Package Arrived

Re: Leupold Care Package Arrived Don't care about illumination, still don't know what the draw to that is. I love my 8.5-25 Mark 4 M5 TMR and seriously jealous of the 6-20 Mark 4 M5 locking turret!

    338 Lapua Entry Level Rifle

Re: 338 Lapua Entry Rifle Both myself and a good friend bought Remington 700P MLR .338 Lapua Magnums a couple months back. A local shop had two left new in the box, and at a killer deal ($1300). Most you see on Gunbroker go for around $1700. You can find better deals in the forum...

    Take on Primers?

Re: Take on Primers? I use CCI #250 Magnum in my 338 LM rounds. The accuracy is awesome and every single one has gone bang so far. With that said I think I'm going to try some CCI BR2's when I run out next. Just to compare.

Best pack for carrying a heavy rifle

Re: Best pack for carrying a heavy rifle Eberlestock without a doubt!! I have the Gunslinger II and love it. The best part about these backpacks is the padding and straps, they make carrying a huge weight effortless and comfortable. Expensive, but so is chiropractic bills!

Rifle Scopes Badger Ordnance Base Screws

Re: Badger Ordnance Base Screws No worries, I know cause I went through the same situation with my base. SWFA sent me the wrong base and wouldn't fix the error so I just paid my smith to drill the holes and provide 8-40 screws.

Looking for a particular type of rifle case...

Re: Looking for a particular type of rifle case... Another vote for the Eberlestock soft drag bag and optional Storm hard case combo. It will hold up to a 50" rifle. Yes the one one Chris Costa talks about in the carbine video is the MobileArmory but since they were bought by Pelican the are...

Rifle Scopes Badger Ordnance Base Screws

Re: Badger Ordnance Base Screws I pointed it out because some bases like the Leupold are actually compatible with both 6-48 or 8-40 screws without changing the holes. The way they do that is by using a special 6-48 screw with a shoulder that fits the 8-40 hole.

Rifle Scopes Badger Ordnance Base Screws

Re: Badger Ordnance Base Screws Screws are only part of the equation. You will have to drill out the holes in the base as well. For anyone else watching, call Badger direct and special order the base with 8-40 screws and holes from the factory. Much easier and cheaper.
