    Re: Melonite Barrel cleaning Clean patch? Hoppes and clean patches? Shoot often. I wouldn't use any "compound," abrasive, or harsh chemicals, just shoot it, clean it, repeat. My nitrided POF barrel just needed a little shooting and Hoppes.
