    Velocity

Re: Velocity seems on the high side to me out of a 20" barrel. I would say to find a chrono to confirm but if you are getting that velocity with that load that's awesome.

    Best Match Bullet - 7mm08

Re: Best Match Bullet - 7mm08 If you are going to be using this for a hunting bullet I probably would not go with a matchking, it can be done and I have killed plenty of animals with them but they have a pretty thing jacket and break up pretty good on most animals. Sierra does have a new...

    Best Match Bullet - 7mm08

Re: Best Match Bullet - 7mm08 what velocity are you looking to get, the BC is great on most most of the 7mm heavyweights but you wont be able to push them very fast out of a 7-08 to get their full potential. Depending on what range you are looking to shoot and what twist barrel you have I...

Brand new Lapua brass looks like this???

Re: Brand new Lapua brass looks like this??? Run them through a die and they with straighten up. They are not the "ready to load" brass that everyone always wants but they ARE brand new just a little rough. No reason to be upset except for the timely manner it took to get them. Good luck

    Air rifle for practice

Re: Air rifle for practice I usually practice with a 22. It helps my trigger squeeze and form with loading the bipod and follow through without having major recoil. any time will help for fundamental reasons if nothing else.

    My 6.5x47 likes moly-coated Lapua 123's.

Re: My 6.5x47 likes moly-coated Lapua 123's. Are you having a problem with fouling in your rifle? Why moly over naked? You should get equal or close results from naked bullets. Good luck

    Full Length Sizing Questions

Re: Full Length Sizing Questions I saw that you were loading the minimum from a loading manual, how is the accuracy at this load. I would pump a little more powder in there and your cases should fireform the rest of the way, and just from my experience shoot a little better the closer you...

    Primers...CCI, Fed, Win, Rem????

Re: Primers...CCI, Fed, Win, Rem???? Are you using a different lot of powder? It is possible that this lot is at the top of their scale and it is making your pressures go up. Winchester is not the softest cup you could be using but never the less maybe you need to switch to some remintons...

    F T/R Competition Reamer for F T/R Class

Re: Reamer for F T/R Class why not get a reamer with a .123" freebore and as the throat wears just bump your bullet weight up to the 185's or beyond. Just get a 11 twist or faster barrel. That is my idea and plan but I could be wrong.
