As 2014 Approaches does this need to be addressed ?

Rob, I don't think anyone is forgetting you guys out there, you're just kinda fucked like we are. Who else on the west coast puts on monthly events or a TBRC level event? The Voight/SF event this year was the first real quality event we had out here besides ours. I hope more pop up in CA...

As 2014 Approaches does this need to be addressed ?

I will admit that there are certain people like Terry Cross and George Gardner (and the likes of them) that I will always reserve slots for because they have done more than I can ever do to help this community and sport. Popular events have always had the problem of too many people wanting to...

As 2014 Approaches does this need to be addressed ?

In the process of popping more popcorn. LOL. I agree and fully support MDs working together to fine tune their events. I have worked a lot with the clubs in Arizona, Las Vegas, Jacob and Lisa @ Rifles Only, and many other MDs to help me fine tune things over the years. A resource that helps...

As 2014 Approaches does this need to be addressed ?

Competition breeds excellence. Another thing to keep in mind from both sides of the house here. TRL or PRS are both GUEST of our ranges and matches. It is the hard work of the MDs, ROs, and range staff that put the rubber to the road to make these events happen. If there is more drama than...

As 2014 Approaches does this need to be addressed ?

On the coaching: we went away from it for a while, but will be going back to it in 2014 for local monthly events for newer competitors hitting 50% or less. We also have them go last on all the stages behind the more experience shooters so that they can learn how to tackle a stage, or prop...

As 2014 Approaches does this need to be addressed ?

Frank, Good points. NCPPRC doesn't offer train ups because we are not instructors but this year we are considering an open range day where all competitors can confirm 0s on all the ranges used in our event. Cost will probably be 50.00. Making money off our events isn't a huge deal to us as...

As 2014 Approaches does this need to be addressed ?

I think the piece of having an entity that would help new match directors and clubs square their stuff away is a good thing. I probably work with about a dozen people a year on trying to get new matches and clubs going around the country. It is no small feat and is a bitch if you don't have...

Spartan 6.5CM SH Rifle #18/NCPPRC Loaner Rifle

Marc Soulie of Spartan Precision Rifles donated rifle #18 of 25 from the 2012 Sniper’s Hide Rife build. Being chambered in 6.5cm, new shooters will not get beat up behind the rifle, and in the wind as much. The rifle is well balanced and handles very well for shooters big and small, men or...

Yup, for bolt rifles, and to take on and off barrels from custom builds. I don't think I will be taking a part any factory rifles. Thanks! Vu

    F T/R Competition Reamer for F T/R Class

I have a 32" Medium Palma Bartlein 1:13 twist with a .299 bore. I'd like to run the 155 Lapua Scenar with Lapua brass. This will be a dedicated FT-R rig and will not be fed from a mag. Same reamers as above? Or total different animal? Thanks, Vu

NCPPRC Loaner Rifle Program for Club Practices/Matches

“I’ll start shooting once I get a rifle built.” or “I wish I can try it out without spending thousands of dollars.” or “I want to build a rifle but have no idea where to start.” Most of us in this sport have all heard one or all of these statements at one time or another. Let’s face it...
