Rifle Scopes Buying my first higher end scope.

I had a MOAR reticle in a Nightforce 8-32 NXS sold it and went with the MOAR T thinner lines. I'd suggest looking thru both before you buy.

Rifle Scopes Vortex Razor Gen 2 verses Nightforce NXS 8-32 MOAR T zero stop

I'm looking for a scope my son and I can use on a dual purpose rifle. He's young (21) and wants to start shooting PRS. I'm old (real old 70!) and do most of my shooting in bench steel and ground hog matches out to 800 yards or so. Our 6.5 Creedmoor rifle is a custom on a AI 1.5 chassis. I...

Rifle Scopes Vortex Razor Gen 2 verses Nightforce NXS 8-32 MOAR T zero stop

i think I'll stick with SFP since my old eyes have a problem with seeing the reticle on FFP scopes at the lower powers. So that eliminates the Razor. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Comparing Federal Gold Medal 210M vs. CCI BR2 primers

In my .308's I've used nothing but CCI250 magnum primers for years with Varget. Works for me.

What would you do in this situation?

I use Bob Green in York Pennsylvania for my gunsmithing work. Bob has always finished my work before his quoted time frame. He's honest, a stand up guy, and charges a reasonable price for his work. When you find a good smith stick with them.

Rifle Scopes Scope Choice for 90% Benchrest / 10% Prone

Find a nice used Nightforce 12-42 NXS with high speed adjustments either .250 or .125 MOA . I see them over on www.accurateshooter.com a lot. I like the NP2DD reticle.

Rifle Scopes Torn Between What Scope to Choose

I'd go with at least 25X on the top end. Granted you might not think you need it now but it's nice to have when you do.

Maggie’s Who packs clothes for a vacation?

I'll say one thing when it comes time to pack the car I just stay out of her way. She can get twice as much in the back of our SUV as i ever could.

    Whidden micrometer die

The Whidden dies have a lot of threads. They are long. In my older RCBS Rock Chucker I had to turn the die down more than the recommended 1-2 turns after touching the shell holder so I'd have enough threads on the seating stem for adjustment. Also you got two seating stems with the dies use the...

    Lapua versus Norma Brass

I called Norma after receiving some 6.5 Creedmoor brass from Midway. Midway shows a picture of the brass with the heat treated annealing, but what I got was shiny both inside and out. Norma stated that all their brass is annealed and then polished to remove the annealing marks. Why they go to...

    Oversized 6.5 Creedmoor chamber question

Measured Hornady factory 140 gr ELD Match loaded ammunition on the case just above the extractor groove. After firing I measured again. .003 expansion which seems way to much to me. Bought the rifle second hand with a Benchmark barrel chambered I assume to Sammi specs but really no way of...
