RL 15 where are you ???

I have 3 lbs. I could trade for 8208 XBR or H4895. Gonna be in S Louisiana this weekend. Lake Charles.

    308 Powder

Easier for me to get XBR. My go to guy says he likes H4895 best. I just shot some 4064. Nice! All using 168 SMK's in a Savage bolt gun. 2.83".

    308 Powder

Have you or anybody considered IMR 8208XBR? Sounds like it can give Varget a run. I have some that I'm fixin to try with 168 SMK.

    Imr 4895

Is this temp sensitive? I'm thinking about using it for my .308, along with 4064, 8208. I've read where some of the bench rest records used IMR4895.

    Imr 4064

I just shot a few loads yesterday. I heard it likes .308. I'm shooting 168's. At 200 yds I had 3(!) bullets go through same hole! 3 dif times. I haven't got to a max load yet. I also don't have a chronie. I'm just worried how the target looks after I squeeze my 2lb trigger. Savage 10. I will...

    What to do with brass?

Ok. I'm getting info overload. I now have Lapua once fired brass thru my savage .308. When I de-prime, do I use my sizing die? I don't wanna mess up the "fitness" of the brass after it fired and fit my chamber. I have a FL comp die set. Will I mess up my brass by running it thru? I thought I...

    165 vs 168 gr for .308

Ok. I'm new to reloading( 6 months) I shoot FGMM 168 gr thru my Savage 1-10 24" bull barrel. Shoots great! I can't understand why I don't hear much talk about the 165 gr bullets. Although I'm a cabinet maker, I don't yet understand the intricates of why 168 is all the rage, when just 3 grains...

    150 grainers for .308??

    Good info. Thanks.

    150 grainers for .308??

I usually shoot 168 grain thru my Savage bolt, at paper. Does great! Question is- is that overkill for target shooting out to 300-400 yds? Could/ should I drop back to 150 gr HPBT? I'm not trying to knock anything down, just shoot for fun , for now.

    .25-06 , rl22?

Sorry for my ignorance. Newbie. Is 19 slower or faster than 22. I have some 15 for my .308. So I'm thinking 19 is slower, then 22 even slower?

    .25-06 , rl22?

    Ahhh. Thanks
  19. scorpion168

    .25-06 , rl22?

If I can find some, sounds like this would push 117 gr's into paper at 200/400 yds. Yes?
