Cabelas has most CCI, Federal, and Remington primers in stock and you can order from their web site. I noticed the Hazmat fee is only $20 - less than the $27 charged elsewhere. Shipping is $5 if you pay with your Cabelas card. Now for powder to become available.

I really enjoyed reading your blog. However, I think there is something wrong with your camera - it makes me look really fat. Come to think of it, most cameras have that defect.

Nice meeting you and your wife as well. The video of you shooting from the tripod is illustrative of "how it's done" in my opinion. After we spoke yesterday I've been trying to emulate your position but I will need to lose about 60 pounds and perhaps have some ligaments cut.

Folks, Just a heads up to the Puget Sound group that I have changed my handle from Sacshooter to Known. Now we have a Known and an Unkown in the group. Pretty clever if I must say so myself. My old handle was from my days living in Sacramento, CA. I would have kept my handle but I have...

bullet runout , dont get it ... help

So I just got a Forster Co-ax press and started to experiment with two stage neck sizing. That press sure produces some concentric cases. I'm loading .308 with Lapua brass and they come out of the rifle at .344 - .345 neck diameter. I'm neck sizing with the .339 bushing first and then...

I use the Sinclair tool: http://www.sinclairintl.com/reloading-equipment/measuring-tools/concentricity-gauges/sinclair-concentricity-gauge-prod37479.aspx It's hard to make comparisons with the concentricity measurements that folks share because they vary by the tool used and where on the...

The Redding neck sizing dies can be purchased with a body die. Some folks will neck size and then push the shoulder back .001-.002 with the body die. Others will neck size only and use the body die every 3rd or 4th firing when the case becomes difficult to chamber. By removing the bushing...

I've heard a lot of folks using the Lee collet die in this manner. Did you modify the mandrel to get tighter neck tension or are you leaving as is? Are you shooting a bolt gun?

I do the same thing. I neck size first using my Redding competition neck sizing die with the proper bushing. Next, I size the body using the Type S full length sizing die without the bushing (since I've already neck sized). As I have the expander (carbide) installed in the full length die...

Powder Valley has .308 175 SMKs in stock. Midway, OKWeber and Grafs have 6.5mm 142 SMK or 139 Lapuas in stock. Things seem to be easing up a bit for bullets - hopefully we'll soon see the powder and primers needed to drive them. Otherwise, I'll be using my wrist rocket. FYI - I've noticed...

Federal small pistol primers Hi, I got my back-ordered Federal small pistol primers in and can spare a 1,000 primer box if any of you are facing a critical shortage. I am also willing to trade Remington 7-1/2, CCI #34, CCI #41, Federal Large pistol primers for standard large rifle...
