Suppressors Suppress a pellet rifle ?

Holy sh*t me bricks! That's quite the pellet rifle! And don't a lot of commercially available pellet guns come with permanently fixed suppressors?

    Cdi bottom metal ?

IMO CDI is offering the most quality and bang for the buck on the market right now. Had a PTG and got rid of it due to mag slop and feeding issues. IIRC the Ruger branded gunsite scout mags are just a badged Accurate Mag and will work in any AI pattern bottom metal.

Where are all the 18-24" 308 DPMS?

Weird, my local store has been regularly carrying the DPMS .308, Colt LE6920, and a couple other off names.

Rifle Scopes new guy, new 308, new base now need help on scope and rings!

I'm a big fan of the Burris Xtreme rings and SWFA scopes. Value wise its hard to go wrong with either of those

Sidearms & Scatterguns what is your other concealed carry?

On hot days I throw a Taurus 85ul in my pocket with a couple speed strips. It's accurate enough and hard to beat the reliability of a revolver.

Is Texas the place to be or not????

Follow the latitudinal parallels from Oregon east and your looking at southern Montana, northern Wyoming and South Dakota. Winters just depend on what part of the state you live in. The only major weather trip up is the continental divide that forces all the humidity to drop from weather...

    Cheap Scout for the Cheapskate

The fireballs are pretty damn impressive, as is the concussion. Didn't like how high that mount sat so I did some researching and it turns out there's basically a dovetail rail under the rear sight base that you can clamp a .22 rail onto. Mosin Nagant 91/30 Scout Scope Tutorial - YouTube

    Gunsmithing muzzle brake thoughts

Only difference in POI I noticed was with my .300win mag because I stopped flinching in expectation of the shoulder punishment. I think he may be overthinking it. Edit* forgot to mention I run JP brakes with 4 top ports

    Rebarreling my .30-06

I'd go to a 22-250 to keep from messing with the bolt face. It's a hot little round with minimal drop at 500-600 yards Google Image Result for http://gundata.org/images/22-250-ballistics-chart.png

    Hello from South Florida

Big +1 most of my interest in precision shooting came from a Savage BSEV in .22WMR. Rimfire is an outstanding way to learn the basics. That being said, welcome to the forums and enjoy!

Is Texas the place to be or not????

I've met a lot of like minded guys from Texas that I got along with very well. That being said the weather is nothing to shake a stick at and you'll miss seeing vegetation that's green. You might be better off in Montana.
