    6mm Creedmoor & 110 SMK

Nice to see others getting the SMK 110 to work. My friend could not get it to work in his 6BRX. It has a great BC on paper. Give me motivation to try it out myself.

Benefits of srp in 6.5 Creedmoor

I agree with Both points. 1. Smaller SD is one theory. However, please note that the 6.5 Creedmoor is nothing more than a 6XC with a 6.5mm stuffed into the neck. The 6XC was designed first (by David Tubb) and his testing on the 6XC design was that a small primer was not more beneficial than the...

    New 6mm Advanced Rifle Cartridge

this could be a great step for the AR. All the other 6.5 and 6mm options I have seen seem to lack the standardized part. Lots of great wildcat options though.

    6.5x47 vs 6x47 WTF?

the 6x47L isREALLY close to being a 6XC so I think there should be potential there for it to have inherent accuracy. PS. Prom queens are usually higher maintenance.

    Cam over vs. hard stop

It depends on the dies being used. The Whidden Gunworks brand resizing dies are designed to be backed out a 1/4 turn after making contact with the shell holder. This means you will not be able to have a cam-over as there is a small gap that is created since you unscrewed the die one quarter of a...

    F T/R Competition Sorting brass ??????

I weighed a couple hundred cases and shot groups with the high and low extreme weights. There was no change in point of impact at 600yds. I did the same thing with bullets and tested them at 1,000yds. I did not see a change in point of impact with bullet weight sorting either. -TH

    Powder Recomendations

I have used VitaVouri N140 in place of Varget in my 308 and it performed VERY well. The N140 provided almost the same velocity for same powder weight. It is also much cleaner burning than Varget.

    Reloading Room Ideas...

I have moved 12 times in the past 12 years and a press stand has allowed me to stay in business as a reloaded. I use one of these press stands from Brownells with my single stage press. I have used it for about 15 years (10,000-20,000 rds loaded) now. No problems with it and it allows me to...
