In Montana they have to take hunters safety and turn 12 during the hunting season. Both of my girls were 11 when they took the class, but have birthdays during the season. I'm glad they changed the rule or both of them would have had to wait another year to hunt.

She will get over it...or at least mine did when she bought a new bow flex. Its still a win!!!!

I think that you will be fine switching, but my experience is you will see a slight velocity change. The 215 is going to generate more velocity, at least it does in my 6.5 SAUM.

My thoughts for what they are worth. While some view turning necks as an extreme pain in the ass, I look at it like this, added brass life in a time when brass is a impossible to get. Sure it sucks, and sure annealing cases is a pain, but not having brass is worse. In my mind turning necks...

I had a 7 stw years ago, as I recall they resize hard as hell. Just throwing out an idea here but could it be that they vary some because when the expander comes back up through the neck it is stretching the case just a bit? If one case isn't quite as lubed up as another could it actually...

I've turned 300 saum into 6.5 and I'm neck turning it all the way to the junction. But then my die sizes the neck all the way to the junction as well. I'm curious as to why your not sizing the whole neck?

I have had great success with 165 grain Nosler Accubonds in my .308. Several deer and elk have been relocated to my walk in cooler with it. If memory serves me correctly, the farthest elk to date with that bullet was a cow at 540 meters.

That's impressive by any standards. I've shot that rifle and it's a hammer too. Also that is with ordinary Remington brass. The results of this cartridge speak for itself, it's just one of those things that works really good.

Thanks for the help guys, that indeed was the issue. It seems odd that this happened after moving it to a different rifle, but their is no sign of locktite on any of the screws. That has since been resolved, and everything is back to functioning like a Jewel should.

So here is what I discovered now, snug one screw the trigger pull probably doubles, put another screw in, the pull goes up even more. When I put the last screw in, the pull goes up so high that you really have to reef on it to make the rifle fire. I haven't played with any of the adjustment...
