    Rifle Scopes Any love out there for Recknagel?

    I just picked up a Recknagel mount today from a local gun shop. It was pretty pricey but it looks like a well built, well thought out design. I like the adjustable MOA(0-70 moa) but once you set it up on a rifle it would stay there. Their website sucks though.

    I have owned a PR 5-25 since 2008 and have never had any issues. I agree with some of the comments above, every bit as good as my S&B 5-25 PM II optically, better turrets than the S&B and the Gen 2 XR reticle is the best for me and my type of shooting. Buy with confidence!

    I went ghetto with my mount. Its from ADM, a weapons light mount for the Surefire M600. I had to drill out one of the holes slightly to accommodate the 1/4" - 20 screw to mount the PLRF 15C but for $70 from a local gun shop, that's fine by me. The locking quick release is a nice feature too...

    Portable PLRF "Reflector" - Reflective Material?

    For reflective material, I was thinking a Silva Tarp. We used to used them when tree planting to protect the trees from the heat of the sun in open clear cuts. They are white on the outside and silver on the inside.

    I would give up my S&B before I would ever let my Premier go. And in terms of optical quality, you are downgrading going from a Premier to a Nightforce. If I were in your shoes, I would get a Premier 5-25 with the Gen2XR reticle, it is my favorite reticle by far, it gives you enough information...
