    Both of these scopes seem to be very well built and have good glass, especially for their respective price points ($600 for the SS 3-9x42 and $400 for the Vortex Viper HS 2.5-10x44). Is the SS 3-9 worth 50% more than the Vortex 2.5-10? I am mainly focused on quality of glass and durability...
