Rifle Scopes Tangent Theta - TT525P

Yea that copy crap happens all the time, the Chinese are world famous for it! Buy one unit, tear it down, and replicate it x1000000 with inferior materials and shitty QC. It's happened to Leupold and they were quite unhappy about it. It's only a matter of time before they do it again, however...

Rifle Scopes Tangent Theta - TT525P

I have asked similar such ??s to Premier about their glass origin, lens set layout etc and got the IP speech.. and I understand some companies like to closely guard their IP. And other manufacturers are glad to tell you how and why their design is superior to X and Y mfr. At the end of the day...

Rifle Scopes Tangent Theta - TT525P

And I suspect you and your scope/weapon system are expecting to be exfiltrated by air drop into enemy territory in sub zero temperatures and then dive into water to abysmal depths. Man I gotta know what your job is? Oh but I imagine something that exciting you would have to kill me if you told me?

Rifle Scopes Tangent Theta - TT525P

What I am asking are real world specs on a new system, not some mumbo jumbo voodoo with chicken bones. (NF is awesome huh?? yes they are..) NF are really proud of their erector spring system and rightfully so. They advertise a tempered Ti spring system with a tumble in a polishing system for...

Rifle Scopes Best scope for pof 308 twenty inch barrel

I have a Premier 5-25 and also a SWFA 5-20 SS in mounts on my 16" POF 308 that I switch out depending on what type of shooting I am doing. Unless you are doing some type of run and gun tactical shooting you will want more mag than just 8x

    Official tannerite discussion

Yes I have found that as well ground up prills don't detonate. It is believed to be due to the "bulking" effect of the prills, having small pockets of air between the prills to propagate the shockwave thru the material. Otherwise you would need a booster or like you said a primary then to the...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Bet you've never seen a muzzle brake like this

does it serve a purpose? or is it like a 50BMG letter opener useless? a novelty item or something of practicality?

    Rifle Scopes Nightforce ATACR

ATACR is a nice scope you wouldn't be disappointed, the only issue I had with it was it wouldn't focus closer than 100y. It is a long distance scope and it is superb for it's designed purpose

Sidearms & Scatterguns Why you DON'T like Glock.

Agreed ^^^^ but the ability to see these things coming or about to happen is what separates the dumbasses from the more intelligent of us all.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Why you DON'T like Glock.

Resale value would be considered important to someone that wanted to "upgrade" possibly to a newer model or different caliber. Or worst case scenario in a "need cash now" situation. Finger off the trigger until ready to shoot is one of the golden rules to safe firearm handling, and can be a bad...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Why you DON'T like Glock.

You ever been in a car accident? EVER? So can I call you a negligent driver? You ever spilled a glass of milk? SHIT CAN HAPPEN EVEN TO THE VERY BEST AND MOST INTELLIGENT OF US!!! Of course we have to do the VERY BEST we can to be safe especially with firearms! but sometimes shit happens, it just...

Rifle Scopes Scope with most "Color Pop"?

Premier has about the best pop of any I have seen and now redesigned as Tangent Theta are supposed to be the "scope all others are judged by"

    Rifle Scopes IOR terminator

you are going to stir up a hornets nest but the general consensus is that IOR is pretty darn good optically but has had many past mechanical issues that may or may not have all been resolved in their latest gear.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Why you DON'T like Glock.

What about resale value and value retention? Do Glocks hold their value better than other brands?

Sidearms & Scatterguns Why you DON'T like Glock.

I guess it all really boils down to personal preference, even with a gun equipped with a safety your training and familiarity with it should still be second nature, draw-safety off-stance-shoot. The safety goes off as the gun comes up to position no time lost. But you are quite right when the...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Why you DON'T like Glock.

Yes in a perfect world those rules would prevent any accidents BUT we are not in a perfect world and as humans we are not without flaw either that is why we call them accidents.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Why you DON'T like Glock.

Any gun without a manual safety is considered more dangerous, especially upon reholster with a chambered round. SA/DA with a manual safety/decocker would be considered the safest. The only exterior safety a Glock has is a trigger bar which can still have AD's if caught or hung up
