    Digital scale recommendation

I understand it is a rather large investment for a reloading scale in some ways, but it is incredibly accurate, and have a 5 year warranty witch trumps a lot of the mfg warranties for such. The A&D unit is quality though, and have a very good track record by now, long warranty, no drifting. And...

    Rubber feet for parker hale?

Hmm then i am not sure if i can help much. Mile high shooting, and Tacpro shooting center might be worth a call if you have not already, both carry AI accesories. Mile high i should have remembered but not living in the US. And yes the friction lock is really nice for these bipods, the way...

    Hearing Protection

Another vote for the MSA supreme pro x with gel cups, and certainly if your shooting braked or inside, use some good standard foam plugs along with it.

    Digital scale recommendation

Stay with your 505 until you can afford a A&D FX 120 I. The dillon is not any good, and the Gempro works for some and some has just problems with them. None of them can reliably weight trickled powder any way.

Anyone ever sent their GemPro250 in on warranty?

Buy the A&D FX 120i mentioned above and be done with it. For the price it is a excellent value, magnetic force restoration balance of good quality for 525$ is very hard to beat, also has a 0.02 grain accuracy but the stated accuracy is accurate. If you look around you will find a lot of people...

    Meplat Trimming????

The Hoover pointing die is excellent, and you get punches matching spesific bullets, itis also not made of plastic. As for trimmer the fastet and most convenient i Tried,is using the meplat kit for the Giraud trimmers. Accuracy is on par with the Hoover, i do use both as it's sometimes...

Disappointed with RCBS, need a new powder measure

Not much fine electronics that have a long warranty, A good powder measure Harrels fx, a omega powder trickler and a A&Det FX 120i. Will be much more accurate, can be just as fast with some practise, and more expensive of course. Will have the ability to get single kernel accuracy, repeatably...

    Annealing

Norma, Rws and seller&belliot makes factory brass for reloading the cartidge, it is probably the easiest solution to your problem. If you want something cheaper Prvi also makes brass for it, but the quality is so so. And if an old mauser with original barrel make sure it is indeed a 8mm,(...

    Gunsmithing Barrel selection

You have a few very good options close to you. Maddco makes good quality barrels in Australia, and Trueflite in New zealand makes a quality product too, you should be able to order them directly with no fuss. from NZ. Of those i would probably choose Trueflite myself, but both are good and will...

    "best" 300 win mag brass?

Best 300 win mag brass is the Ruag match brass, alternatively RWS witch is also very good. Both types are tough and will take a high amount of loads, and the consistency is very good. It will have slightly less capacity then some of the US made brass though, due to thicker brass. The other...

Are you a handloader near Chicago? I could use your help and will compensate you!

Not able to help you out due to location, would infringe a whole lot of laws. But if you don't get a proper answer here or on the other forum. Some of the Local F-Class or BR guys are the most likely place to come over shiny and well prepped brass.

    Looking for good hearing protection.

Yes go for standard foam plugs, 3M makes some really good ones with high db rating. Then get a set of Msa/Sordin Supreme Pro x, with gel ear cups. at 285$ they are within your budget. Only better ones i am aware of is the big and bulky 3M, but find them uncomfortable when shooting. Triad...

    Please help

You can try any federal 210's both M and normal, they wont be different. CCI BR's and 200 does well, so does TULA or wolf primers, so there is plenty of choice. WIn has primers too, so has REmington, RWS , Magtech, Fiocchi etc. It should be possible to find some, but not always exactly what you...

Hornady OAL gauge - Need a couple of cases threaded... Anyone do this here?

You will get more accurate reading with brass chambered, fireformed and sized with ones own equipment, instead of buying the finished cases, that is one good reason to do it for those asking. All you need is a tap ,a drill bit, a drill press and something to hold the brass it is a really simple...

    300 Winmag Tactical Rifle Build?

You will not need a .750 bolt for the 300 Win Mag it does not hurt anything but weight though. The Defiance are good actions. As for the options no one can answer the questions better then the people who make them, send them a mail. 6. A good trigger is surely worth it for a precision rifle...

    Redding T7

Well i only owned one T-7 for a few months, but it indeed had some slop in it, neither was the movement consistent. Noticed the turret moved slightly towards the back support, during both sizing and seating You might have understood what i mentioned the wrong way, or my english is not...
