    Adding a few: Maven RS.4 Burris XTR Pro (eurooptic for $2k) US Optics B-17 (eurooptic prices are ~$2k) or DeathBeforeDismount is apparently offering a free US Optics 50% cert - brings the FDN 17X down to $1400 or 25X down to $1900 Zeiss S3 if you can stretch a couple hundred bucks

    I've looked into it as well. KRG's polymer compound is just heavy. It's just about invincible, and it comes with a weight cost.

    Point of reference: These are uncropped, and representative of what the sight picture will look like to your eyes size wise. This difference in size is what I notice every time I look through a USO FDN vs other scopes, especially MK5s.

    I've had five FDNs and still have 3. To my eyes they resolve targets a smidge better than my ATACR 7-35 at distance. My only complaints I can come up with are: The 25x has a tight eyebox (52mm objective). Less of an issue with the 17x. The 25x minimum parallax is 75yds The turrets are difficult...

    I had a pair of Steiner M1050Rs, and the FOV was tight. Nearly had to have the diopter scraping my corneas, and it was a small FOV. Decent reticle though.

    My 18" Grendel gets 2485 with 123 Scenars and 28gr 8208 XBR. I get some slight pressure marks on the brass, but nothing over the top.
