Some videos of Amber and I shooting 600 yards w/AR

Re: Some videos of Amber and I shooting 600 yards w/AR Nice shooting! Wish I could talk my old lady into going out more often. She likes shooting but just won't go out enough to build up her trigger pull skills and overcome a bad case of trigger panic. Even happens with the .22LR trainers...

    AR 15 LOWER

Re: AR 15 LOWER Nope! 100% guaranteed that's a no go. They do have some super short wild cat type 30 cal rounds available. I think one is called the .300 whisper? The 6.8 SPC and 6.5 Grendal is the closest bridge between the two that is a semi common commercially available round. Rooter

Rifle Scopes Leupold Mark AR series

Re: Leupold Mark AR series Really is just a renamed VXII with an all black tacticool look and different reticles. It was called M2 for a couple years before they changed and focused on the AR specific designation. Pretty good glass for the money and best of all it's a Leupold so they hold...

Re: nitrex tr2 Your going to be very impressed. Box testing the three I have has been dead nuts on. I have a 3X15X50 on an AR that I use as a truck gun and it's been banging around the back seat of the Jeep for 6 outings and still put's the bullets where I aim it. They are the best deal on...

Re: Choke in YOUR upland gun? Like a light mod in a Beretta gas gun for hunting in eastern CO where they tend to jump wild and far. But when you do get the brave one's jumping from under your feet you just wait till they get out a little further so you don't get the exploding pillow. Cheers...

Rifle Scopes Which scope? Nikon or Nitrex?

Re: Which scope? Nikon or Nitrex? Use to be a Nikon Monarch guy now I'm a Nitrex TR2 guy. Best deal on the market for sub $600.00. Biggest reason for me was the quality of hardware. Nitrex has Nikon beat for sure. Glass quality is a push. IMO Cheers! Rooter

    Long Distance 5.56 Shooting

Re: Long Distance 5.56 Shooting The trigger is going to always be your biggest issue as far as the AR platform goes. If you are talking about a std mil spec trigger good luck past 300 yds with a quality match or varmint system add the 200 to 300 if you can shoot and shoot alot. IMO Cheers...

Rifle Scopes **Acog Reticle Chevron vs Horsehoe Green Vs Red**

Re: **Acog Reticle Chevron vs Horsehoe Green Vs Red** I have had both colors & for me red = dead & green = can't be seen. Don't know why but it's the same for my fiber optic archery sights as well. Also I prefer the Chevron over the Horseshoe. Cheers! Rooter
