    Re: Guesstimated trade in value for this. I know its a hit, but I would be happy to be within about $100-200 of a basic 19. It would be worth it in ammo to me. Around here 9mm is half of 45 and I have other 45s to feed. The XD just doesnt fit me very well. Damn gun show impulse buys...

    My 5 year old son shot for the first time today!

    My son Xander shot for the first time today. S&W M&P15-22. 20ish yards 5 out of 5 on steel. I supported the weight, he aimed every shot. Here is a pic. Target is the big one, furthest out. Yes he is holding the gun righty, but seems to be using his left eye.

    Re: Savage MKII painted, again. I sprayed the whole gun with Krylon tan, then I sprayed puddles of other colors on cardboard to dip a sponge in. Thats pretty much it.

    Re: No longer a virgin to stippling(pics) I drew a rough outline of what I wanted with a pencil and filled it in randomly. Used a wood burner with a small pointed tip. Metal can be done with a good sharp punch and hammer.

    Did a little googling, but cam up dry. Does any build a 9mm 1911 with a officers frame and commander slide? I really want to try out a short framed 9mm 1911, but I would like at least a 4" barrel. Thank You Patrick Scott
