    Any reloading industry guys???

Sir...flexible is fine. I have been looking for pretty much any of the extruded, medium burn rate powders for a while now. Thing is, by the time I touch money to time, it is all gone. I Have seen people bragging about how "on top of it" they are. Sure wish things would break loose already!

Range Report Is my action worth building?

I know there are a couple of smiths here on the Hide who do Howa. I just can not remember who they were right at the moment.

Range Report Is my action worth building?

The one brief conversation I had with a smith was essentially "I would rather not have to take time out to set my lathe up for metric, then re-set it up for standard again"... I did'nt persue it back then as I was actually building my savage 111. The Howa was just a curiousity.

    Any reloading industry guys???

It has been 4 years or more... admittedly there were one or two brief breaks in there. Sure wish things would get better!

    Any reloading industry guys???

Personally, I reload almost all of my ammo. I have reloaded for about 20 years, it is hard for me to pay "store" price for off the shelf ammo. It just hurts me to the marrow!

Range Report Is my action worth building?

I used a Savage prefit for my 111... Honestly, I won't be doing that again. The chamber was cut crooked enough that the smith I ended up sending it to actually could not fathom how it had been cut that crooked. The company that I bought it from told me "Oh you got it shooting 1.5 min! Great! You...

    Any reloading industry guys???

If that is the case, they could order new machinery, hire new people, and still way more than pay it all off + reap deep proffits! It literally boggles my mind how each person who has ever reloaded would have the $$ to buy ...what?...literally thousands of pounds of powder, 10's of thousands of...

Range Report Is my action worth building?

At the moment, the first thing I would do is look for components to reload for. Then decide. Lots of good 1000 yard capable rounds out there.

    Reloading 45acp questions

I tried it once with an empty case on my 1911, took 3 hammer strikes to light a Win LR Primer. The weapon was in perfect repair, and had never misfired on any of my PISTOL loads... :) Was one of those Conversations that ended up in "hell lets see..."

ready to start first loads for .308......a few ?'s

Re: ready to start first loads for .308......a few ?'s 4350 is flat out too slow for .308. 748 is not bad for lighter bullets. Accurate Arms website online will have info for the 2230, it is a free resource. RL15, AR-Comp, Varget, IMR4064, H4895 are all good IMR 3031 is a little known but...

    20" 300wm load advice

Re: 20" 300wm load advice Honestly not much of anything will get the 300wm's full potential out of a 20" barrel. That being said 4350 is normally considered a bit fast for a 300wm, but certainly do-able, and in this case genuinely worth running over a good chronograph set at about 15-18' from...

Have my friend and I been wasting our money?

Re: Have my friend and I been wasting our money? I had an older .308 Savage 10FP that really would print 1/2 MOA with 1 or 2 factory loadings. That being said for that 1 that would I have had quite a number that barely held MOA on a *REALYL* good day! As the others said, do not believe all...
