    Re: $1000 scope overkill for AR-15 platform? I personally wouldn't buy a scope that costs more then about half of what the rifle costs (after upgrading it a bit), but then again, that's cause I can't go around asking if $1000 scope is overkill, . If I could though, I'd say hell no it ain't...
