Rifle Scopes Trijicon ACOG Reticles - Help.

Re: Trijicon ACOG Reticles Since this relates to what the OP asked, what color reticle do you guys find to offer the most contrast for day time shooting? From what I've read, more people prefer the red reticle over amber as it offers better contrast, but what about green? Thoughts?

Re: Chamber length vs brass trim length clearance I was looking to keep the brass as long as possible to aid in gas seal and consistency. I bought the Sinclair chamber length gauges to determine how long my chamber was and trim accordingly as opposed to going with the book trim lengths.

Building a bench - what would you do different?

Re: Building a bench - what would you do different? How do you guys deal with having these benches over carpet? My bench is very rigid/sturdy on hardwood/tile/concrete, but once on carpet, it's a different ball game. Rocks a bit when sizing larger cases.

Re: 3rd loading; signs of head separation Thank you very much for your insight gentlemen. I was conflicted if I actually had signs of separation or not. This puts me at ease. I will double check the velocities with another chronograph. I was nervous about that fact too, but no other signs...

3rd loading; signs of head separation

Hey Fellas, My casings all show signs of head separation with the ring around the base. Now this normally doesn't surprise me if I was on my 10th loading, but this was on my 3rd loading using new Lapua brass. No pressure signs were seen prior to the appearance of the ring. Just wanted to see...
