    Gunsmithing Measuring Threads and Screws for Mark 4 Rings

    I have a set of Leupold 1" Mark 4 rings, no caliper and am not smart on how to measure threads...trying to figure out which replacement screws I should order from Brownell's. Screws are between 10 and 11 mm from the base to the bottom of the head, and 14mm overall. Can anybody help?

    Re: Fire lapping I used Final Finish on a Remington 788 6mm barrel, a 700 270 sporter barrel and the barrel on my LTR in 308. The barrels are easier to clean now...accuracy is the same.
